<p>EGFP mRNA (N1 Me Pseudo UTP) encodes a green fluorescent protein, whose maximum excitation/emission light wavelengths are 488nm/509nm respectively. Transfected cells can express enhanced green fluorescence, which can be used as a control to study the transfection and expression of target genes in mammalian cells.
